A brand new 2016 Christmas rock-POP track has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of providing attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket web site .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session musicians to record the tune over a 6 week period. The songs contains 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States due to Mark wanted the best outcome and quality. The song ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main purpose of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day web site that we can and then ideally in-turn they’ll be good enough to donate to at least one or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
One other main goal is to have enough downloads of the song to help fund and create a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will offer free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local colleges and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open yet but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to advertise his song Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to simply help including a Phuket Villa and cheap flights to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
