A new 2016 Christmas rock tune has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main intention of bringing attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket web site .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a unique up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used session players to record the tune durring a six week period. The songs consists of 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the USA due to Mark wanted the best result and quality. The track is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key goal of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website that we can and then hopefully in-turn they will be good enough to help to one or all the Phuket charities, and to also download the song.
One other primary goal is to have enough downloads of the song to fund and set up a Phuket live music club with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll offer free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ is not open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to market his tune Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous methods to greatly help including a Phuket island Villa and cheap flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
