3- Minerals- They are required for the maintenance of proper functions in your body just like the transport of oxygen during the entire body, stimulating growth, normalizing the nervous system etc. Minerals is found from the various food items for example meat, cereals including cereal products such as bread, fish, milk and dairy products.
4- Protein- These are key components of muscles, hair and skin. Proteins help in creation of various enzymes in your body that control various important functions. Major protein sources include milk, meat, fish, egg, and vegetables.
5- Vitamins- They are an essential component of animal body required for a sound body. It can be organic compound required as a nutrient. Good reasons for vitamins are fruits, vegetables, cereals, milk and eggs.
6- Water- It is popularly known as the”elixir of life”. Our body comprises of 55-78 % of water. It can be necessary for the main functioning of the numerous important parts of the skin.
Thus, these points given above reflect the significance of food and nutrients inside our diet. Providing a person is alive, he needs water and foods in the required quantity.
