The moment must the great wedding speech be presented…?

How weddings have changed over the decades! From the handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight bridal party members; a straightforward wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; one to three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

While we’re talking about the latter, wedding speeches are nevertheless a fundamental part of a wedding and guests do anticipate hearing them, talking about them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.

We know of father of the groom speech delivered prior to meal, in the meal and after the meal, yet it is of the strong opinion that the wedding speeches should be delivered following your meal. I realize that for many wedding ceremony speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father in the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they would want to contain the wedding speeches prior to meal, for them to enjoy their meal (a lot of them are paying for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and how many of them (as well as the wedding venue staff) would choose wedding ceremony speeches being delivered following the meal for most reasons, a few of which include:

The invited guests have already been fed and watered and are not hearing wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be so prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival at the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce wedding ceremony speeches ahead of the meal as well as their might be a delay of 15 minutes one.5 hours, driving your home staff crazy always keeping food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches work as the transition through the meal for the dancing (broke and alone happening as soon as the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to get shared in regards to the Bride & Groom after which they know they are able to get up, move about, take a break, take a stroll, navigate to the bar…)
It can be difficult for parents of the Bride & Groom to communicate in public, since most of them wouldn’t be used from it. So, they can, if they so wished, speak before the / their meal.

There should nevertheless be some type of formal speech(es) following your meal…
