The moment must the perfect wedding speech be delivered…?

How weddings have changed within the decades! From the handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding party members; a simple wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals to 6 course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

Speaking of aforementioned, wedding speeches remain a fundamental part of a married relationship and guests do look forward to hearing them, referring to them before, during and even after they’ve been delivered.

We know of wedding speeches delivered prior to meal, in the meal after the meal, yet it is of an strong opinion that this wedding speeches must be delivered following the meal. I am aware that for several wedding party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father of the groom speech (5 main speakers), they would prefer to hold the wedding speeches prior to the meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (many of them are spending money for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and how most of them (and even wedding ceremony venue staff) would prefer the marriage speeches to get delivered after the meal for several reasons, some of which include:

The invited guests are already fed and watered and are not hearing wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which would be the case prior to the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival on the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches ahead of the meal along with their could be a delay of Quarter-hour to 1.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy attempting to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The marriage speeches work as the transition from your meal towards the dancing (without a penny happening following your meal, everyone is expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared regarding the Bride & Groom then they understand they are able to wake up, maneuver around, come out, go for a walk, see a bar…)
It’s not easy for parents of the Bride & Groom to talk in public areas, as most of them may not be used of computer. So, they may, should they so wished, speak prior to / their meal.

There should be some type of formal wedding speech(es) following your meal…
