5. You could be tempted to get a high carbon kukri. High carbon steel is often super-tough and stays sharp for some time.
Remember that your high carbon kukri will rust otherwise maintained properly. Simply avoid any exposure to water whenever possible and an easy coat of oil for the blade after every use.
